POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek a detail-oriented surveyor to operate advanced equipment and analyze field data.

QUALIFICATION

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1-2 years experience in surveying, preferably with network survey vehicles.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in GPS/GNSS, LiDAR data collection, and associated industry software.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for field data analysis, reporting, and operating specialized survey vehicles.

1. Plan and Prepare Surveys:
• Develop survey objectives and scope in collaboration with project managers.
• Plan survey routes using GIS and other mapping software.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Operate Survey Equipment.
• Monitor data collection in real time to ensure quality and completeness.

2. Data Collection and Management:
• Collect geospatial data, images and other relevant data.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data collection, storage, and backup.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Process and analyze collected data using specialized software tools.
• Create detailed maps, 3D models, and comprehensive reports based on survey data.
• Present findings and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

4. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
• Address technical issues with survey equipment promptly.
• Adapt survey plans as necessary to account for unforeseen obstacles or conditions.

5. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate survey results clearly and effectively.

6. Skills:
• Proficiency in GIS and data analysis software (e.g., ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Global Mapper).
• Strong technical skills in operating and maintaining survey equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

7. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions.
• Capability to lift and handle survey equipment as needed.
