MANAGER/AGM – HR

• Strategic HR Leadership
Guide and support the GM – HR in implementing organization-wide HR initiatives
Drive workforce planning aligned with project pipelines and business expansion
Lead organizational restructuring, succession planning, and talent pipeline development
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning (Strategic Oversight)
Design long-term manpower strategies based on business forecasts
Develop strong employer branding and talent attraction strategies
Introduce structured hiring frameworks, competency mapping, and assessment tools
Monitor and optimize recruitment metrics (TAT, cost per hire, quality of hire)
• HR Operations & Policy Governance
Ensure standardization and continuous improvement of HR policies across all verticals
Review, upgrade, and implement policies in line with latest labor laws and industry best practices
Drive automation and digitization of HR processes (HRMS optimization)
Ensure governance, audit readiness, and process compliance
• Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Strategy
Oversee payroll governance, accuracy, and compliance
Design competitive and cost-effective compensation structures
• Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Design and implement yearly engagement calendars for all levels (site & HO)
Drive employee satisfaction, retention strategies, and grievance management frameworks
Build a high-performance and accountable work culture
Lead change management and communication strategies
• Learning, Development & HR Capability Building
Create and implement yearly training plans aligned with business needs
Ensure continuous upskilling of HR team on latest HR trends, tools, and labor law updates
Develop leadership training programs for mid and senior management
Promote a learning-driven organization culture
• Statutory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with PF, ESIC, Gratuity, IT, TDS, and labor laws
Handle audits, inspections, and statutory reporting
Mitigate compliance risks and ensure proper documentation systems
• HR Analytics & Decision Support
Drive data-driven decision making using HR dashboards and MIS reports
Present monthly and quarterly HR insights to leadership
Track key HR metrics: attrition, productivity, cost, engagement, etc.
Use analytics for workforce optimization and forecasting
• Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR
Define KRAs/KPIs for team members and conduct periodic reviews
Build a high-performing, accountable, and future-ready HR team
Drive delegation, ownership, and succession within the HR function
• Innovation & HR Transformation
Introduce modern HR practices (HR analytics, AI in recruitment, digital HR tools)
Benchmark HR practices with industry standards
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR processes
• Ideal Candidate Profile
10–14+ years of HR experience (preferably in infrastructure/civil/project-based industry)
Strong exposure to both strategic and operational HR
Proven experience in team handling and stakeholder management
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR systems
Leadership mindset with ability to drive change
