Seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager for Legal & Contracts roles to handle complex agreements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must hold a Master’s in Contract Management; Engineering or LLB backgrounds are preferred.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various project contracts to ensure optimal legal protection.
ROLE CLASSIFICATION
This role is identified as a primary legal contract management position within our organization.
• Draft, review, and respond to legal letters, notices, and communications with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Draft and vet MOUs, contracts, NDAs, legal notices, and service agreements.
• Provide legal support on technical issues arising during project execution.
• Handle corporate law compliance including statutory filings, board resolutions, and ensuring adherence to applicable company law requirements.
• Support arbitration cases and dispute resolution for project-related matters.
• Attend court hearings, arbitration proceedings, and client meetings related to legal matters.
• Handle labor law compliance and employee-related legal matters, including addressing disputes, disciplinary issues, and compliance with labor regulations (Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labor Act, etc.).
• Support HR with employment agreements, exit documentation, and grievance redressal from a legal perspective.
• Assist in MSME licensing, statutory registrations, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Liaise with external legal counsel where required.
• Advise project and management teams on contractual, employee-related, corporate, and legal risks with mitigation strategies.
• Maintain systematic documentation and filing of all legal correspondences and case papers. Manage labor law compliance and employee-related legal issues.
• Relevant experience handling corporate law, labor law, arbitration, and contract management in an engineering or infrastructure environment.
